If you have ever worried if this game were to be good or not, think no longer. Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is the beginning of the hit game series for the PlayStation 3. Drake's Fortune along with its sequel, Among Thieves, have won Game of the Year. Once you play, you will understand why. The graphics are stunning. Even the first game in the series trumps many games that are releasing now. The quality of the levels, gameplay, and villains is amazing. The voice-acting is also noticeably stunning. If you do not trust me, look up any other review. This game is a hit and a must-have in everyone's PS3 gaming collection.
 Not what I expected September 5, 2010

The game has a good few opening chapters. When I first started playing it seemed more like an adventure that reminded me of Tomb Raider. It was fun to play so it sucked me in quite easily. The checkpoints are frequent so you don't have to go ALL the way back if you die.
But soon after by Chapter 4 (Fortress), it was getting repetitive. Walk around, see enemies, shoot, repeat. Turn corner after corner to hear more guys screaming, "There he is!" It was the same thing constantly with less story in-between.
I don't doubt many people enjoy this game. But I'm not really into shooters so I was kinda disappointed. I'll try to complete Uncharted so I can move onto the sequel but I can see it taking a long time. All the endless shooting can only hold my attention for so long.

I just got this game and I am blown away by the overall feel. Its kind of hard to play because I kept thinking I was watching a movie! Great voice acting, great graphics - fun storyline. Definetly a must play!
