black 100ft cat5 July 28, 2010 Angelak (Ohio) I have had this cable for about 3 months with no trouble. It works great. This was a great buy!
stopped working all the sudden!! July 27, 2010 abdulla its only been couple of weeks since i bought the cable, and all the sudden, it stopped working, the cable is not bent, broken or cut, but i think its bad quality
You want to do some crazy networking? Try this excellent value. July 22, 2010 JerZee 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this cable to run a switch for a temporary server far from my wireless router. The switch is located roughly two stories above and 10 feet away from the router below. Right now the cable goes from the switch, up the walls, out a window, down siding, through another window, and along walls until it connects into the router. All the wire is neatly creased with dark molding and run inconspicuously outside. After about a week of technical challenges involving massive file downloads (ooh!) and environmental obstacles including heavy rainstorms and wind (aah!), this cable has (you guessed it) held up without any noticeable decline. While I'm not a "category-five cable connoisseur" I can definitely attest to the function and reliability of this for practical purposes.
Cheap, not actually cat5e cable... July 19, 2010 r_mcrobie I purchased this cable with the intention of cutting it up and creating several smaller patch cables. This cable is very cheap and no where on the actual cable is it marked as "cat5e" or even "cat5". It contains 8 single very thin wires that are not twisted pairs and not copper. I am pretty sure to call a cable cat5e it must be copper and twisted pair. I do not recommend this cheap cable.

Needed it. June 16, 2010 E. Aberer (CA) Just what I needed to hook up the TV in my exercise room - and which our local stores did not have. Easy to order and here in good time.
