Double Check The Correct Cartridge Number May 4, 2010 David R. Hadden 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The HP 78 tri-color cartridge is listed on Amazon as fitting the HO 1oooC printer. I ordered it and tried to install it. It would not work. I called the independent sales company nand was told the cartiidge was incorrect for the HP 1000C. They told me that since the package was opened and that part number cartridge was not listed for my printer in their files they would do nothing. Beware! Double check any part number listed on the web and check for actual vendor.
As advertised February 11, 2010 C. Markley (USA) The printer ink cartidge I ordered worked well, and was not past its expiration date.

surprising customer service April 19, 2009 Mary Lynn Annerino 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
I ordered an inkjet and never received it and got in contact with customer service and they basically called me a liar and accused me of trying to get a refund and keeping the inkjet which I never received. They wrote me an e-mail and said they were refunding my money and to enjoy the free inkjet and please don't ever shop with them again. I thought that was rude and very poor judgment on their part. I e-mailed them back after the nasty e-mail and told them I was very sorry about what happened and if I do receive the inkjet by chance that I would surely get in contact with them to remit the money for it. I never heard from them again. It surely could have gotten lost in the mail. I never received it and they did not want to hear me out about the problem..
Don't get image wet or let cartridge jets dry out.. December 20, 2008 Victor H. Agresti (Gaithersburg, MD United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
HP Model C6578DN No. 78 Tricolor Inkjet Cartridge
This cartridge produces excellent color images, with realistic colors and accurate representation.
On the negative side, getting an image wet can result in serious smudges.
Also, unless used regularly, the cartridge's tiny jets eventually dry out and clog, blocking either cyan, magenta, and/or yellow. The result is similar to one of the inks running out, in that images are missing a color or two. If you think the jets might be clogged, remove the cartridge from the printer, dampen a paper towel with alcohol and thoroughly swab the cartridge jets, then vigorously shake the cartridge for a few seconds. That usually brings it back to life, but once alcohol is needed, it will probably dry out again, in a few days. Printing something in color once a couple of times per week helps to keep the jets clear.
